Open competition 3, the word from Ian was that standard of images submitted was very high, he wasn't wrong! What a fabulous showcase of our clubs talents, some of the shots were incredible, the winners were truly worthy but as the judge stated on the night, all the held backs were of and extremely high standard and there was very little in it.

In my 3 years at the club, I don't think I have witnessed a competition so rich in fantastic shots. Our judge for the evening with an extremely hard task was Professor Terry Hewitt, who judged the images with skill and humour, interweaving jokes and anecdotes alongside the detailed feedback he gave of each image.
